In keeping with New Mexico’s COVID-19 pandemic response efforts, we are not holding face-to-face meetings until further notice.  We are however, holding virtual meetings using Zoom.  Upcoming meetings are shown below.  Please check back as this list may be updated as things continue to evolve.

The Albuquerque Freethinkers Group of AA holds two meetings each week.  Both meetings are open meetings, and are often attended by those who identify as addicts and al-anon as well as by alcoholics.

Regularly scheduled virtual meetings:

Saturday at 8:30 AM and Wednesday at 7:00 PM (Mountain Time)
Zoom  ID 340835708  Password 507753

Lists of other secular on-line meetings can be found at, and there is a useful list posted on  There are also sites on our Links page that may be useful for those looking for secular recovery resources.

Once we are able to resume face-to-face meetings we will begin holding the following regular meetings again:

Wednesday Evening
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Heights Club, Room 2
8520 Marble NE, Albuquerque, NM  87110

Saturday Morning
Time: 8:30 AM
Location: Little Anita’s in Old Town
2105 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104 (corner of Mountain and Rio Grande)
The group meets in the large dining room to the right of the cashier.  (Sometimes if they have a large party coming they move us to the smaller room next to the bar, so look there if we are not in the large dining room.)  This is a restaurant, and about half of those attending order breakfast; everybody pays for their own coffee.  However, there is no obligation to order any food or beverages but please do not bring in outside food or beverages.
